Adverb Presentatation

Presentation by Nadirah' s group.

Adverb: Tell you more information or desccibe about an action verb.

1. Adverb of manner - answer the question 'How'?
    e.g. : She moved slowly and spoke quietly.

2. Adverb of time - answer the question 'When'?
    e.g. : She tries to get back before dark.

3.Adverb of frequency - indicatehow often  something occurs.
   e.g. : She often goes by herself.

4. Adverb of  place - answer the question 'Where'?
    e.g. : He was working here.

Listening…

The noon class we do some exercises in listening. From this class, I know how to be a good listener. Miss Zu is kindly to share some tips in doing listening.

          First, we have to find the main ideas from the conversations. In the simple way, we are not required to listen for every single words. We just need to grab  the main idea and present the answer with our own words.

          Now I know, the effective way in listening. So, I will use the skills in listening to get a good a results in the test which is in March…

Grammar ???

This evening we have a grammar presentation from Natasya’ s group.The presentation is about Prepositions & Conjunctions. The presentation from this group is good with a clear and easy explanations to understand. The slide show are interesting with a colorful design in their slide. This colorful slide will help to avoid boring and sleepy of everyone in the class especially me.

          The note and examples in the slide are quiet easy to memorizes especially as preparations in the test. The group also prepared questions to ensure and improve our knowledge about the topic that have been presented. So the  presentation are the best way to improve our knowledge about grammar.

My first memory…

My feeling when I enter in JAC1102A in BEL260 is mix. I’ m feel nervous because this is my new class and meet with new friends and new lecturer too.  I’ m also feel excited because I have a friend in class A who is Q that love share a story about  her BEL class to me before I change the class from H to A. So, the story make me feel excited to experience it by myself.

          My lecturer’ s name is Miss Zuraidah but we can called her as Miss Zu. She is a friendly person and can make I and my friends as a new comer become comfortable  in the class although we are new and not know closely  each other. The first task in the class that she gives are activity about P.Ramlee films. We are needed to choose from any P.Ramlee films and act again with our creativity. So, the task will be more interesting with different idea from each group.

          My group choose the story from ‘ 3 Abdul’ to present in the class. The task is very fun because I can seen each group with different story and various expression of feeling which make the acting so real or the other words  are ‘perfect’ ! Therefore, my first memory in BEL260 is very meaningful and the memory will always be in my heart forever and ever.
